The international community agreed that with all the good things that this technology offered to the world, regulation of AI was necessary, as expressed by the EU document adopted in December 2023, which limits the processing of certain types of citizens' data by states The research question of the paper is formulated as follows: What are the similarities and differences between the Georgian legislation related to AI and the regulation adopted by the European Union in December 2023? To achieve the mentioned goal, a holistic approach will be used within the scope of the research, which includes integrating different research methods.
