Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Information for Authors

The journal publishes articles prepared by one or several authors. A submitted article must not have been previously published or submitted to another publication for printing. In the event that plagiarism is detected, the work is automatically disqualified, and subsequent texts provided by the author will no longer be accepted.

Submission of Articles

  • Authors must send their articles to the journal's email: es@tsu.ge.
  • Submissions are accepted in both Georgian and English.
  • Articles must be uploaded in Microsoft Word format.

Review Process

  • Submitted articles undergo a technical check before the formal review. If deficiencies are found, the text is returned to the author for correction only once. If technical violations persist in the updated version, the article will not proceed to the next stage.
  • If there are no technical flaws, the Editorial Board reviews the article. Following a positive internal evaluation, the article undergoes anonymous external peer review. Reviewers are scholars from Georgian and foreign universities whose expertise aligns with the article's theme.
  • The review period is two to four months, though the editorial office aims for a minimum timeframe.

Copyright and Ethics

Authors must sign a copyright agreement before publication (see the Law of Georgia on Copyright and Related Rights). If the article contains previously published material, the author must obtain written permission from the copyright holder.

Stylistic and Orthographic Quality

Authors are responsible for the stylistic and orthographic correctness of the text and the proper use of terminology. The board may refuse to consider stylistically flawed articles or recommend linguistic editing by a specialist chosen by the board.

Technical Requirements

  • Font: Sylfaen
  • Font Size: 11
  • Line Spacing: 1
  • Page Numbering: Bottom right corner
  • Word Count: 3,000 to 6,000 (excluding bibliography and appendices)
  • Visuals: Tables, graphs, and photos must be numbered with sources indicated.
  • Citations: APA Style must be followed for both in-text citations and the bibliography.

ინფორმაცია ავტორთათვის

ჟურნალი აქვეყნებს ერთი ან რამდენიმე ავტორის მიერ მომზადებულ პუბლიკაციას. რედაქციაში შემოსული სტატია ჟურნალში მიღებამდე არ უნდა იყოს გამოქვეყნებული ან სხვა გამოცემაში დასაბეჭდად წარდგენილი.  პლაგიატის აღმოჩენის შემთხვევაში, ნაშრომი ავტომატურად დისკვალიფიცირდება და ავტორის მიერ მოწოდებული სხვა ტექსტები შემდგომში აღარ მიიღება.

სტატიის წარდგენა

  • ავტორებმა სტატია უნდა გამოგზვანონ ჟურნალის ელფოსტაზე es@tsu.ge;
  • სტატიის წარდგენა შესაძლებელია ქართულ და ინგლისურ ენებზე;
  • სტატია უნდა აიტვირთოს MicroSoft Word–ის ფორმატში.

განხილვა

  • ჟურნალის რედაქციაში განსახილველად შემოსული სტატიები განხილვამდე გაივლიან ტექნიკურ შემოწმებას. ხარვეზების არსებობის შემთხვევაში, ტექსტი დაუბრუნდება ავტორს გასასწორებლად მხოლოდ ერთხელ. თუ განახლებულ ვერსიაში ტექნიკური დარღვევები კიდევ იქნება, სტატია განხილვის შემდეგ ეტაპზე ვერ გადავა.
  • ტექნიკური ხარვეზების არარსებობის/აღმოფხვრის შემთხვევაში სტატიას განიხილავს სარედაქციო კოლეგია. დადებითი შეფასების შემთხვევაში წარმოდგენილი სტატია გაივლის ანონიმურ გარე რეცენზირებას. რეცენზენტებად მოიაზრებიან საქართველოსა და საზღვარგარეთის უნივერსიტეტებში მოღვაწე მეცნიერები, რომელთა კომპეტენცია და აკადემიური ინტერესები თანხვდება სარეცენზიო სტატიის თემატიკას.
  • სტატიის განხილვის ვადა ორიდან ოთხ თვემდეა, თუმცა, რედაქცია მოწოდებულია, ნაშრომი მინიმალურ ვადაში განიხილოს.

საავტორო უფლებები

ავტორ(ებ)მა, სტატიის გამოქვეყნებამდე, ხელი უნდა მოაწეროს ხელშეკრულებას საავტორო უფლებების შესახებ (იხ. საქართველოს კანონი საავტორო და მომიჯნავე უფლებების შესახებ). თუ სტატია შეიცავს ადრე გამოქვეყნებულ მასალას (ტექსტს, სქემებს ან ცხრილებს), ავტორი ვალდებულია, მოიპოვოს წერილობითი ნებართვა საავტორო უფლების მფლობელისაგან (ასეთის არსებობის შემთხვევაში).

ავტორ(ებ)ი პასუხისმგებელია: ნაშრომის ტექსტი მოგვაწოდოს სტილისტურად და ორთოგრაფიულად გამართული; სწორად შეარჩიოს სპეციფიკური ტერმინოლოგია. სარედაქციო კოლეგია უფლებამოსილია, სტილისტურად გაუმართავი სტატია არ განიხილოს ან გასცეს რეკომენდაცია, სტატიამ გაიაროს ენობრივი რედაქტირება სარედაქციო კოლეგიის მიერ შერჩეულ სპეციალისტთან.
