The State Policy of International Educational Migration in Georgia and its Harmonization with EU Standards in 2013-2023’
Abstract
The thesis refers to research the state policy of international educational migration in Georgia and its harmonization with EU Standards namely, in 2013-2023. The study explores the main questions of the characteristics of the educational migration policy of Georgia and their similarities and differences compared to the European Union policy. Lee’s theory is used in the study to explain educational migration dynamics, considering internal and external factors that influence state policies and decisions. In the thesis, we have used the qualitative research method, including semi-structured, in-depth interviews and focus groups, with international students. The respondents were selected purposefully, there were targeted 27 international students from different countries. The interviews were conducted with educational experts. The paper is a novelty as it offers information about the effectiveness of Georgia's international education policy, and there has never been evaluated the harmonization of this policy with EU standardsReferences
